There is no ongoing effort for GME to buy eBay. The bid is being dropped as reported by Bloomberg. There is no longer a path for RC to buy eBay through GME which means that either RC has given up on eBay (he hasn't) or eBay is being purchased through another entity that may eventually include GME.
