Generally, yes and in fact when I spend money on something and can’t invest in it in some form I get slightly bitter that I’m making someone else marginally richer. There are exceptions because there’s some stuff I consume that I wouldn’t want to invest in, but I’m not here just to win, I want most people I’m in competition to lose hard.
