Anecdotal but since like 2006 I've bought a pair of Nike running shoes every other year, specifically for running. I bought a pair in 2023 and they fell apart in several months, again in 2024 and they fell apart in 6 months and even when new my feet hurt in them. Bought a pair of new balance last year and they've been great and still going. I was a very loyal customer but something changed and I can't afford to hurt my feet

Poor quality. Here in Europe Nike isn't associated with blacks or any subculture, it's just a common shoe brand. But a bad one.
