Funny enough, the moving averages don't really matter at all. What really matters is the structure of the price movement. Specifically, a lower swing high which creates a new lower swing low, and off that new lower lower the price challenges the old swing high. From the new challenged equal highs the price will create a new low which is roughly equal to the previous swing low (not the newest low, but the one preceding it).
