I don’t think there will be any crash (at least in desirable coastal markets) because the only people who own homes in these areas are either 1) rich or 2) bought a long time ago and don’t have a mortgage. Neither of these types of people will be forced to sell so there will be no crash. Sales will slow and realtors will seethe, but that’s it.
