Yo man, Im 33. I have masters degree in graphic design from an art school. Finished at 26. I found out graphic design is dead and or low pay so in my own time, while studying graphic design, I learnt how to draw concept art for video games. I grinded 10h+ per day for a year and a half, learnt designing landscapes and architecture and got a job. In order to keep it, I learned 3d modeling (hardsurface, organic and VR). Then learnt how to set up scenes in game engines. Then learnt charcter design.
