God luck finding jobs there. Our municipalities are led by retards, only jobs next to urban centers by the coast. And for well paid jobs that are not remote, you'll be buying a new 3 bed house/apartment for 400 to 600k minimum (close to a million in Lisbon, now). All while the median average is 1200€ gross and the best you get, outside IT jobs, will be 3000€ gross. Portugal is a great place to live if you FIRE or living off your pension, it's a living hell if you work here.

The problem is Portugal's tax policy, my brother in law is Portuguese and his parents live about 30 minutes south from Vila real and an hour half from Porto. They have a large property and lots of land and only pay 200 USD per year on the entire land. In the US that would be easily 10k per year.
