that's not why he called him a retard, retard. he called him a retard because win rate is irrelevant, you can lose 99/100 and still be incredibly profitable if you're wins are big or losses small enough. it's more about skewness of returns than 'win rate' eg open a $50 wide iron condor on SPY any given day and you'll have a very high win rate, but you'll pay it all back and more when it loses

it's not 'larping' it's more like invalid buggy code so the results are completely bunk. like the backtest will do something like >`buy at bar.Open if bar.Open < bar.Close` or other stupid shit like that. without a fully event driven system it's incredibly hard to avoid these errors even if not using AI, and because AI cannot understand semantics and logic, any 'vibe coded' software for it is pure garbage.

further advice would be to tell AI to make sure the bot supports plugging in multiple trading venues, so you can trade multiple venues simultaneously (Jupiter, Gains Network, and whatever other perps providers there are out there) then in addition to that tell the AI you want to be able to run many different strategies simultaneously, and each strategy has its own bankroll (i gave each strategy $100), and that the AI knows you want the bot to include paper trading as well as real trading but sta
