That said, the ETH network is useful to validate ZK-rollups. This gives the decentralization of ETH, with the speed of next gen blockchains. P.S. I see someone mentioned Polkadot (DOT). That's one I saw when I was deciding on my first assets. I concluded it had potential but that it was something to skip at the time and buy later on when I made real gains. Not only do I have way more money than the day I first bought any kind of asset, DOT is also 6x cheaper than that day. It'd be easy for me to take a gamble on it, but I'd rather research its current status more instead of just throwing money at it as some kind of coinflip.
