Should I bother with investing on my own? At my job I get an 8% 401k match and I contribute about 8% of my paycheck into my 401k, so about 300-400 dollars per month plus what my company matches. On my own with investing I've been pretty bad. I wanted to buy Tesla stock in 2013 but let my dad talk me out of it. I bought crypto in 2017 but kept chasing altcoins and lost money.
